Welcome to Ted and Venetia Smith's Home!
Ted and Venetia had dreamed of a log home for some time. After Ted's retirement from Reynolds Tobacco Company, they decided to escape from the triad of North Carolina to the country. The escape was to Seagrove, N.C. and a beautiful site near their daughter. A log home and a place to enjoy the show horses was the ultimate. A love for antiques dictated that their home be very country down to the very primitive door latches. Their home is an "A" roof one and one half story home with a full front porch and screened back porch. |

The great room and kitchen are open to the roof system with a loft over the bedroom and bath areas. The kitchen is accented by totally open front cabinets. The loft area is open with space for a sleeping area, sitting area and entertainment area that is frequented by their grandchildren. |
