Derek Smith is a very unusual young man with a very nice log bachelor pad. Derek, an engineer and a graduate of N C State University, did all of the finish work on his home while employed full time at R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and farming 60 plus acres. Derek's home is hand hewn on the exterior and planned smooth on the interior with 2" extended dovetail corners. |
The first floor is about what you will find on any first floor plan, great room, kitchen, bedrooms and bath. The second floor of the one and one half story home is totally open. At one end is the game room complete with pool table. The other end is used for an entertainment center and office. A totally custom designed home to meet Derek's requirements for space |
