For many years we thought we would like to own a log home. Several times over the years we looked into the possibility of building a log home, but for various reasons at different times, we became discouraged. We even looked at several already-built log homes, but they were in the wrong place, the wrong floor plan, the wrong color, etc. Each time the bug bit we tried to ignore it, but I guess we had it bad; that bug wouldn't go away.
When we finally realized this and decided to build our log home, it was certainly convenient that Country Comfort Homes was in our neighborhood. But we never felt any pressure from you. On the contrary, we were the ones to call with questions, "what ifs" and "I'm not sure" and you were always (and continue to be) courteous, responsive, and supportive.
When people ask: "Would you do it over again?" we say without hesitation: "YES!" That's not to say we didn't have problems, setbacks, and general bad days, but they had nothing to do with you or Appalachian Log Homes. In fact, you helped us through most of those problems, setbacks and bad days.
Thanks again, Pete, for all you have done to help us make our dream of owning a log home a reality.
