Testimonial from
Cathy Walker
Dear Pete,
I hope this letter finds you and Jackie doing well. It's been a while since my beautiful log home was built and I am sorry I've not gotten around to writing you and expressing how much I love my log home and how thankful I am to you for all your extra help in getting to the finished product

I've thought many a time, Pete, how things would come up and me as a single woman needed a man's opinion and you helped me in those areas also. I've experienced so much in these three years since I moved in. The beautiful snows that we have had, the spring planting in my yard, the beautiful fall leaves - all these seasons that God gives us. I've sure enjoyed all of them here. I especially enjoy my Christmas here, there is just something about being in a log home at Christmas time - all of my family and friends love to come here. They say the same thing that the magazine article said, "I'd never leave home."
If I ever built again, it would be another log home. I could never go back to a conventional home. Pete, I enjoyed everyday of watching the logs going up. People would even stop by the roadside as it was going up and they would just stop and watch. A log home seems to captivate people. It reminds us of a time past when times were hard but families seem to be closer and not in such a rush. When people ask me about the building process, I tell them yes there's more to building a log home than a conventional one but in the end it's all worth it. I'd do it all over again.
Pete, once more, I thank you so much for making it easier on me. You have such a personal touch. I count you a wonderful friend.
Thanks,
Cathy Walker
