We would like to thank Pete Pyles and his lovely wife Jackie, for making our life long dream come true. All of our forty-four years of marriage we have always wanted a log home. Pete worked with us for over four years. Drawing plans, changing plans, looking at our property, changing plans, showing us construction details, changing plans, always having a great attitude and never pressuring us to do anything.
We were in Pigeon Forge, Tn. And decided to visit the Appalachian Log Home office in Knoxville. They told us they had a dealer in Tobaccoville, N.C. by the name of Pete Pyles. We contacted Pete and Jackie when we returned home, and visited them in their log home and from there we turned our dream into reality.
Pete never faltered, he was there to answer our questions as we worked to clear our property and build our driveway (1300 feet long).
When we were ready, Pete did one finale drawing, made suggestions on wiring and furniture placement. Pete recommended Dallas Butner Construction Co. to do our construction, and we like him right away. Pete ordered our home. Dallas started the foundation, logs came in, a fine group of men came in from Tn. And our logs were erected. Pete was there to check on everything. Dallas and his crew are now doing the finishing of our construction. Pete checks in regularly. Pete Pyles and his wife Jackie are wonderful people and their business-Country Comfort Homes-is the most knowledgeable and the easiest to work with of any business we know.
We investigated log homes and representatives for over fifteen years, so believe us when we recommend Pete, you can't go wrong. Appalachian Log Homes and we are the real winners. When our home is finished in the spring of 2005, Pete, Jackie and Dallas will be the first to sit on our porch and share a steak with us.
